It's a German childrens TV figure, which has been developed in the GDR in 1959 and used in the Federal Republic of Germany (which had their own version before) after the German reunion too. It's still a thing today and shows 5 to 7 min long clips for children before they go to bed. Already in 2019 over 22,000 episodes were broadcasted.
